The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center Selects the YuJa Video Platform to Serve Language Learners in the Armed Forces
The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC), which provides foreign language education, training, evaluation and degrees for the Department of Defense, has selected the YuJa Enterprise Video Platform to serve language learners in the Armed Forces or who are sponsored by a government agency.
“We’re excited to provide DLIFLC with a comprehensive Video Platform that not only meets their specific language learning requirements but also meets the stringent security standards needed by government agencies so they can provide service members and government personnel language education and training.”
The institution was seeking a Video Platform to record lectures that offered language translations and a variety of options for language captions while integrating with the Canvas Learning Management System. Other key priorities revolved around cybersecurity and SOC-2 compliance; audio, video and VR support; mobile support; bulk uploading; and video quizzing. In addition to these benefits, other built-in tools within YuJa, such as automated production, processing, publishing, and managing of video content, all help streamline workflows and enable the creation of engaging learning experiences.
“YuJa was designed to meet the diverse digital learning needs of institutions,” said Nathan Arora, Chief Business Officer at YuJa, Inc. “We’re excited to provide DLIFLC with a comprehensive Video Platform that not only meets their specific language learning requirements but also meets the stringent security standards needed by government agencies so they can provide service members and government personnel language education and training.”
