Surprise! It’s me again. This update would have been included in the previous post if not for my debilitating fear that you would’ve seen the amount of text and a seemingly endless scrollable list and noped right out of there. But with attention spans being what they are these days, can you really blame me? Anyhow, let’s dive into some of the exciting new features hitting Software Capture this week.

Auto-Capture Resumption When Devices Unexpectedly Reboot

This one’s for all you PC power-users out there. If a device running a Software Capture session unexpectedly reboots due to a system crash or power failure—yes, the dreaded Blue Screen of Death—Software Capture will automatically initiate a new recording upon reboot while also preserving the previous one.

Auto-Start Scheduled Sessions When Software Capture Is Closed

And for those of you living in the Apple ecosystem, as part of our Fleet Management capabilities, we are developing tools to enhance remote deployments of the Software Capture app. In cases where Software Capture isn’t running, it’ll ensure that scheduled sessions still start on time and capture active devices, such as video, audio, and screen sources.

Select Course Channels and Save Locations for Profiles

You can now choose Course Channels and save locations when creating a profile to ensure that your recordings are automatically uploaded to desired areas of the Video Platform.

There. Short and sweet. Better to portion these out as bite-sized snacks, am I right? As always, thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy using YuJa Software Capture.
