YuJa Inc. is a SOC 2-compliant firm achieving the highest standard for corporate and information technology (IT) governance. YuJa contracts with an experienced compliance auditing firm that holds designations as a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”), Certified Information Systems Auditor (“CISA”), Certified Information Systems Manager (“CISM”), and Certified Internal Auditor (“CIA”). These audits are performed annually to perform testing of the compliance controls that are in place.

Evaluated by an independent third party, YuJa is certified as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant. This designation enables YuJa to provide HIPAA-compliant Video Platform instances, along with the ability to sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for those who rely on vendors and subcontractors to transmit protected health information (PHI). Meeting these standards are an extension of YuJa’s commitment to data protection and privacy in its SaaS-based media solutions.

Our cloud infrastructure uses a durable storage platform with 99.999999999% durability of objects. This means near perfect storage reliability with industry-standard checksums and cyclic redundancy checks (CRCs) to ensure impeccable storage and retrieval of data.
Elastic Cluster Enables Dynamic Scalability and Load Balancing
YuJa’s cloud-based architecture is designed with advanced elastic scaling, load spike tolerance, and containerized sub-system redundancy. The result is a solution that is designed from the ground up to support high-volume, data-at-scale production workloads. To ensure a consistent throughput, YuJa’s cloud-based infrastructure is deployed on multiple physical data center locations, spanning several availability zones and redundant sub-systems.
Containerized Architecture for Highly-Available Service Delivery
The advanced containerized architecture with redundant sub-systems ensures that in the event of planned or unplanned hardware failures, our Ed-Tech products can continue to operate and maintain our Service Level Agreement (SLA). The containerized architecture is built from a standardized set of Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) servers that can be swapped out and re-deployed dynamically without affecting a given sub-system’s operation or functionality.
Ability to Handle High-Volume Media Processing Workloads
Our elastic processing cluster enables our capacity to dynamically adjust to the prevailing workload without the need for any human intervention. This allows for quick processing of millions of concurrent system requests, including transcoding, transmuxing, captioning, thumbnailing and cognitive video analysis.
