Coastal Carolina University Selects YuJa Engage Student Response System to Foster Engagement With Classroom Gamification Campuswide

Coastal Carolina University (CCU) has selected to add the YuJa Engage Student Response System to its growing ed-tech stack. The Response System will work alongside other YuJa products, including the YuJa Enterprise Video Platform, YuJa Panorama Digital Accessibility Platform, and YuJa Himalayas Enterprise Archiving Platform.

Instructors at CCU were using other engagement tools, but the university didn’t have a sitewide license to serve its more than 10,000 students. As they evaluated tools, YuJa Engage was compared to other engagement platforms and selected because of its robust toolset, simple migration process, and integration with the Moodle Learning Management System. YuJa Engage is an LMS-integrated Student Response System that allows instructors to add graded or ungraded polls and surveys to courses using a variety of question types from multiple choice to true or false, fill in the blank, matching, word cloud, clickable image, short answer and more. Instructors can also automate and track attendance, and send results of polls to their LMS gradebook.
