Loyola Marymount University (LMU), a nationally ranked R2 research institution, has selected the YuJa Panorama LMS Accessibility Platform to strengthen digital accessibility for its 10,000 students. The selection follows a comprehensive evaluation of accessibility vendors as the institution works to meet Title II guidelines and ensure all students have equitable access to digital learning materials.
“YuJa Panorama was built to meet the needs of institutions of all sizes, and we’re excited to help them as they create a sustainable, scalable approach to meeting Title II requirements.”
The institution, which has three campuses in Los Angeles, was seeking an accessibility solution that would integrate seamlessly with the D2L Learning Management System and provide faculty with intuitive tools to identify and remediate accessibility issues. With YuJa Panorama, LMU faculty will benefit from in-line remediation capabilities that allow them to address accessibility issues directly within the LMS, streamlining the content creation process and reducing administrative burden. The platform’s automated scanning, real-time issue detection, and comprehensive alternative formats, including for complex math and chemistry materials, will enable the institution to proactively address accessibility barriers and create a more inclusive learning environment for all learners.
“Loyola Marymount University takes accessibility and compliance seriously,” said Nathan Arora, Chief Executive Officer at YuJa, Inc. “YuJa Panorama was built to meet the needs of institutions of all sizes, and we’re excited to help them as they create a sustainable, scalable approach to meeting Title II requirements.”
