North Carolina’s Davidson-Davie Community College Selects YuJa Panorama Digital Accessibility Platform to Increase Accessibility Across its Campuses

Part of the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS), Davidson-Davie Community College has expanded its commitment to accessibility by adding the YuJa Panorama Digital Accessibility Platform to its ed-tech stack. YuJa Panorama, which replaces the institution’s former accessibility product, will complement the YuJa Enterprise Video Platform and serve students at its multi-campus institution.

Institutional leaders were seeking an Accessibility Platform with the ability to customize flags and the severity of accessibility issues and that offered in-line remediation in the Moodle learning management system. In addition to meeting these needs, YuJa Panorama will enhance accessibility with the auto-generation of several Accessible Alternatives of course material in the background — from HTML to electronic Braille, EPUB, audio (speech-to-text), high contrast, tagged PDF files, and more, and provides a Visual Gauge for a quick check of accessibility. Detailed reports at a course and institution level help measure and track accessibility. YuJa Panorama’s specialized Remediation Engines identify, prioritize, and automate the correction of inaccessible content in documents and other media.
