Skagit Valley College has chosen the YuJa Panorama LMS Accessibility Platform to remediate online documents to align with WCAG, ADA, and Section 508 standards. The cloud-based solution will help faculty conduct large-scale remediation across the institution’s learning management system (LMS).
“We are committed to supporting Skagit Valley College as it improves document and LMS accessibility across its campuses.”
Skagit Valley College, located in Mount Vernon, Washington, has chosen YuJa Panorama for its institution-wide document and LMS content remediation efforts. The platform locates accessibility issues at scale, guides faculty through remediation processes, and applies fixes automatically without manual document reuploading.
Additionally, YuJa Panorama provides a broad selection of alternative formats to support student-led accommodation efforts. Both students and faculty can seamlessly transform original documents into accessible formats for diverse learning needs. This includes Braille formats, gradient reader formats, EPUB, audio podcasts, and more. YuJa Panorama also converts documents with mathematical content into various accessible formats, such as accessible LateX, to help ensure proper rendering for STEM content.
“We are committed to supporting Skagit Valley College as it improves document and LMS accessibility across its campuses,” said Nathan Arora, Chief Executive Officer at YuJa, Inc. “YuJa Panorama not only allows for faculty-driven remediation efforts, but students can use the platform to generate accessible formats to suit their learning requirements.”
With the implementation of YuJa Panorama, Skagit Valley College prioritizes the joint effort between faculty and students to facilitate an accessible digital learning environment.
