YuJa, Inc., a leader in cloud platforms and applications for the regulated sector, announces that the University of Michigan System has selected the YuJa Panorama LMS Accessibility Platform to enhance digital accessibility initiatives for its more than 50,000 students across three campuses in Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint.
“We’re proud to support their commitment to digital accessibility and inclusion by providing technology that helps make learning accessible to all learners.”
The university was seeking a more scalable solution to audit all accessibility areas of Canvas beyond their current HTML page creation tool. After evaluating multiple options, they selected YuJa Panorama for its comprehensive reporting dashboards that provide transparency around accessibility metrics across the institution, sub-account dashboards that give them visibility into overall accessibility metrics by department, and other user-friendly features.
YuJa Panorama improves digital content accessibility through real-time feedback and automation tools, integrating seamlessly with the Canvas Learning Management System to offer automated accessibility checks, alternative formats, and reports that help institutions ensure compliance with digital accessibility standards. The platform’s Remediation Engines identify, prioritize, and automate the correction of inaccessible content in documents, images, and math and science materials, helping ensure students can engage with content regardless of their learning needs.
“The University of Michigan has a long-standing reputation for excellence and innovation in education,” said Nathan Arora, Chief Business Officer at YuJa, Inc. “We’re proud to support their commitment to digital accessibility and inclusion by providing technology that helps make learning accessible to all learners.”
