Georgia Gwinnett College Selects YuJa Panorama LMS Accessibility Platform to Enhance Digital Accessibility for Its More Than 11,000 Students

Georgia Gwinnett College, one of 26 higher education institutions in the University System of Georgia, has selected the YuJa Panorama LMS Accessibility Platform to provide a more robust, streamlined approach to delivering accessible, engaging learning experiences to its more than 11,000 students. YuJa Panorama will replace the institution’s former vendor with an all-in-one media accessibility solution.

Institutional leaders were seeking a tool that would allow user-friendly in-line remediation of accessibility issues and additional alternative formats, such as optical character recognition for scanned text files. YuJa Panorama provides a cloud-based accessibility checker that enables remediation within the D2L Learning Management System to help ensure it meets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and offers an explanation and remediation resources for inaccessible content. In addition, instructors will benefit from the automatic generation of accessible versions of all uploaded documents, comprehensive reports at the course, instructor, and institution levels, and other tools that help build accessibility into course creation.
