East Central University, a public institution in Ada, Oklahoma, has selected the YuJa Lumina Video Platform to serve as its campuswide media creation, management, and distribution solution. The Platform will replace VidGrid, the institution’s former video platform, which phased out its education offering.

The institution, which has a student population of around 3,400 students and serves students campus and through virtual programs, was seeking an all-in-one solution to support institutional recording workflows, student submissions, and provide more robust editing capabilities while seamlessly integrating with the Blackboard Ultra Learning Management System. Following a comprehensive trial, East Central University chose YuJa for its advanced features, total user support and training, joining other Oklahoma institutions that have successfully transitioned from VidGrid.
In addition to user-friendly features that enable instructors to create engaging, interactive content, East Central University’s more than 3,000 students and 600 faculty and staff will benefit from advanced accessibility features including auto-captioning and multi-language support, as well as video quizzing, gradebook integration, and visual analytics to measure content impact and engagement.
