“We are proud to support the State University of New York as the university system empowers student success by creating accessible learning materials through automation using YuJa Panorama.”

To create curated plans that facilitate student success in all aspects of living and learning, SUNY, the largest university system serving close to 470,000 students in the United States, recently selected YuJa Panorama to enhance the digital accessibility of course content and documents across their learning management system (LMS). Home to a diverse student community, including 41,000 students with disabilities, SUNY’s selection demonstrates a commitment to ensuring that all students and employees across the university system have equal access to all programs, services, activities, and resources, regardless of their campus.

With industry-leading tools for automated, guided, structural, and inline remediation, the platform enables faculty and students to quickly identify and fix common and complex accessibility issues ranging from low color contrast to incorrect reading order. YuJa Panorama’s powerful AI engines also help faculty and students generate missing alt text, create diverse alternative formats, and resolve multiple flagged issues in bulk, all with only a few clicks, helping eliminate hours of manual remediation effort. Using these processes, SUNY can strengthen approaches to providing universal design suitable for users with different learning and accommodation needs.

Compatible with all major learning management systems, including Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Moodle, Blackboard, and PowerSchool, YuJa Panorama’s secure and seamless LMS integrations allow faculty to monitor and synchronize detailed statistics, extensive dashboards, and analytical summaries for their course and institution directly in the platform. From institution-wide insights to granular per-course or per-student data, faculty can easily diagnose student pain points and prioritize remediation efforts to better help students with specific needs, both in the classroom and beyond.

“We are proud to support the State University of New York as the university system empowers student success by creating accessible learning materials through automation using YuJa Panorama,” said YuJa’s Chief Executive Officer, Nathan Arora. “With customizable conformance levels and severity ratings, different institutions across SUNY can leverage YuJa Panorama to help them achieve their own web accessibility standards and institutional goals.”
