Wayland Baptist University, a private Christian university with its main campus in Plainview, Texas, has selected the YuJa Lumina Video Platform as its all-in-one video solution across all campuses and online programs. In addition to its main campus, the university operates campuses in Lubbock, Amarillo, Wichita Falls, and San Antonio, Texas; Phoenix and Sierra Vista, Ariz.; and Mililani, Hawaii, and offers full degree programs online.

The institution, which serves nearly 4,000 students, was seeking a replacement platform for its former solution, which had decommissioned its education-focused platform. Following a thorough evaluation and recommendations from YuJa’s current customers, Wayland Baptist University selected YuJa’s comprehensive video solution that enables instructors to create, upload, and edit content while integrating with the Blackboard Learning Management System. Key features driving the selection included browser capture, software capture, auto-captioning, unlimited storage, video quizzing, gradebook integration, comprehensive analytics, and innovative new features and capabilities.
