Netherlands-Based Utrecht University Selects YuJa Panorama LMS Accessibility Platform After Competitive Tender Process

The university conducted a rigorous process that evaluated multiple vendors against extensive functional and technical requirements. YuJa Panorama was selected after demonstrating superior capabilities across all evaluation criteria, including alternative format generation, accessibility remediation workflows, and comprehensive reporting features.

The institution was using another accessibility solution, but was seeking a more comprehensive platform to provide streamlined workflows for faculty and students in the D2L Brightspace Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). YuJa Panorama will provide faculty with immediate accessibility feedback and actionable remediation guidance directly within the VLE, without disrupting existing workflows, while the institution’s nearly 40,000 students will gain access to multiple alternative formats, including audio, tagged PDF, ePub, electronic braille, HTML, and other versions of course materials. The platform also enables comprehensive accessibility monitoring and reporting at multiple levels, from individual courses to faculty-wide and institution-wide analytics.
