Southern University at Shreveport (SUSLA) has selected the YuJa Panorama LMS Accessibility Platform to help deliver accessible, inclusive learning experiences to its growing population of full- and part-time students.

Part of the Southern University and A&M System, SUSLA is the only Historically Black College and University (HBCU) comprehensive community college in Louisiana. Institutional leaders were seeking an all-in-one accessibility tool that would give instructors the tools they need to create accessible course content and would provide students with user-friendly accessibility tools such as a document hub, specialized image and math formats, and more. YuJa Panorama integrates seamlessly with the institution’s Canvas Learning Management System, automatically scanning course materials for accessibility issues and providing step-by-step guidance to resolve them. The platform offers robust Optical Character Recognition (OCR) capabilities to convert scanned or image-based documents into accessible, searchable text.
YuJa Panorama also enables the generation of a variety of alternative formats, including audio, ePub, Braille-ready files, and HTML, so students can engage with course content in the way that best suits their needs. Its math format capabilities, image accessibility tools, and centralized document hub makes it easier for both instructors and students to manage and retrieve accessible materials across courses.
