The University of Notre Dame Continues its Partnership with the YuJa Engage Student Response System to Create Active Classroom Experiences

The YuJa Engage Student Response System is a student-focused learning tool that helps promote active learning through engagement. The platform allows instructors to ask a wide variety of questions within their course content: multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, true or false, matching, short answer, clickable image, ranking, open discussion, and more. Students can easily join and view results for questions through their mobile devices, seamlessly integrating into the classroom flow.

Even as a student-centred tool, YuJa Engage also provides instructors with valuable functionalities like attendance tracking, LMS gradebook integration, and detailed engagement analytics. By using YuJa Engage, the instructors at the University of Notre Dame have been able to automate attendance tracking, assign attendance points, and instantly send all results to their LMS gradebook. To ensure the integrity of student answers, instructors can also add geofenced locations for their questions, such as a classroom or event space. All student answers are tracked and digested by the platform to create a comprehensive analytics dashboard that provides instructors with detailed insights about course performance trends and breakdowns for each question.
