Hello, everyone! I hope you’re well. At the time of this writing, the weather is quite gloomy. But don’t worry. I won’t let it affect the tone of this blog. Nevertheless, I sure could use a ray of sunshine. And you know what always brightens up my day? Telling you about some of the amazing new features hitting the Verity Test Proctoring Platform this week!

Integrated Guided Assistance to Help New Students Navigate Verity Assessments for the First Time

Here at YuJa (and much to the chagrin of students everywhere), we want the test-taking process to go as smoothly as possible. To prove it, we’re happy to announce that admins can now implement Verity UI made specifically for D2L Brightspace to help students access their assessments. For example, if students attempt to access an assessment without authentication, they’ll be automatically guided through the necessary steps to resolve the issue. They literally cannot mess this up, you guys. Contact your Client Success Manager to enable this feature.

And don’t you worry, Blackboard users, we haven’t forgotten about you. Future releases will also provide this feature to your LMS. Didn’t think you could get away that easy, did ya?

Review Live Session Notes on the Results Page

We’ve added a dedicated Live Notes tab that consolidates all notes, whether positive or negative, but probably mostly negative, made by proctors during live sessions. Proctors reviewing the session can then easily navigate to the video’s relevant section by selecting any note.

Verity Mobile Lockdown App Support for D2L Brightspace and Moodle

With the successful release of our Mobile Lockdown App for iOS and Android, which initially supported proctored assessments on Canvas, we have extended compatibility to allow D2L Brightspace and Moodle proctored assessments to be taken on mobile devices. And before you ask, yes—future updates will also provide support for Blackboard proctored assessments.

And just like that, the clouds have parted, and the sun is shining. Not literally though. It’s still cold and gray out. *sigh* Anyway, until we meet again, I hope you enjoy using the Verity Test Proctoring Platform.
