Collège Boréal Selects YuJa Panorama LMS Accessibility Platform to Enhance Digital Accessibility Across Eight Campuses

Collège Boréal, a publicly-funded, French-language college of applied arts and technology in Ontario, has selected the YuJa Panorama LMS Accessibility Platform to strengthen its digital accessibility initiatives and proactively address upcoming legislation requirements in Canada. Boréal manages 36 sites, including eight campuses in 27 Ontario communities.
“YuJa Panorama’s French localization capabilities, combined with its complete accessibility features, will support digital content accessibility for students while helping the institution meet Canadian legislation requirements.”
The institution, which conducted a trial prior to its selection, was seeking a comprehensive accessibility platform with French localization, in-line remediation, and other tools that help build accessibility into course design. YuJa Panorama automatically generates accessible versions of documents, offers on-the-spot remediation capabilities, and offers users customized website accessibility options they can apply to any webpage. Remediation engines detect, prioritize, and correct inaccessible content in documents and images, including scanned documents, and handwritten and digital text. YuJa Panorama integrates directly with D2L Brightspace, the college’s learning management system.
Collège Boréal is committed to serving Ontario’s francophone population,” said Nathan Arora, Chief Business Officer at YuJa, Inc. “YuJa Panorama’s French localization capabilities, combined with its complete accessibility features, will support digital content accessibility for students while helping the institution meet Canadian legislation requirements.”
