The Community College of Vermont (CCV), Vermont’s second-largest college and part of the Vermont State Colleges System, has selected the YuJa Panorama LMS Accessibility platform to help meet new Title II compliance requirements and create a more inclusive learning environment for all students.
“The Community College of Vermont has demonstrated a clear commitment to accessibility, not only in response to changing regulations, but as part of a larger vision to make education more equitable.”
The institution, which offers degree, certificate, and workforce education programs across 12 locations and online, serves more than 10,000 students annually. CCV was seeking a centralized accessibility solution that could scale across campuses and support faculty in delivering accessible content to a broad and diverse student population. Institutional leaders were impressed with the Platform’s ease of use and its wide range of capabilities, including support for accessible math formats, inline remediation, and a WYSIWYG editor that makes accessibility improvements easy to implement.
YuJa Panorama automatically generates accessible alternatives of course content, provides visual accessibility gauges, and offers robust reporting and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. The platform integrates directly with Canvas and enables instructors to identify and fix accessibility issues in real time.
“The Community College of Vermont has demonstrated a clear commitment to accessibility, not only in response to changing regulations, but as part of a larger vision to make education more equitable,” said Nathan Arora, Chief Executive Officer at YuJa, Inc. “We’re proud to support CCV as they work to ensure that all students, regardless of ability, can access high-quality learning materials.”
CCV joins Vermont State University, the system’s other institution, in adopting YuJa Panorama to meet the needs of a diverse student population. The rollout underscores a system-wide commitment to ensuring digital accessibility across its digital footprint and to compliance with federal regulations.
