Over the next few days, we’ll be adding several YuJa Lumina Video Platform updates to make reviewing, analyzing, and managing content easier and more efficient. New enhancements include a new workflow that reimagines the course experience to streamline course creation, free and automatic application of Enhanced Audio Descriptions to your 3 most popular videos monthly, the ability to edit quizzes without making a copy, and so much more.
A New Workflow Reimagines the Course Experience
The YuJa Lumina course workflow has been reimagined to streamline course creation, enrollment, organization, and management to deliver a clearer, more engaging experience for both instructors and students. Key highlights include:
Create Courses Faster: Instructors can now use the new Course Creation Widget to set up a course quickly. Invitations are automatically sent to all added users, so you can get your course up and running right away.

Flexible Invitations: Invite students to your course by adding them manually or uploading a CSV file. The refreshed, user-friendly email ensures users can join quickly and seamlessly. You can also resend invitations whenever you need.

Clear Role Management: Badges now appear next to each person’s name, so you can quickly see whether they are a course owner, member, or pending member. You can easily change roles or lock them to prevent LMS updates from overriding your settings.

Organize with Sub-Channels: Instructors can break the course into sub-channels to keep content, discussions, and members more organized.

Easier Course Settings: Your course settings are now organized into tabs, and common actions like archive and delete are available in the kebab menu, making course management more simple and intuitive.

AlwaysOn Audio Descriptions for Video Accessibility Now Included at No Cost
We’re introducing AlwaysOn Audio Descriptions, an automated accessibility enhancement for YuJa Lumina at no additional cost. Each month, Enhanced Audio Descriptions will be automatically applied to your top three most-viewed videos, ensuring high-impact content is accessible without any manual effort. When Audio Descriptions are applied, you’ll receive a notification email, and the updates will also be reflected in your Monthly Usage Report. This automated approach helps institutions maintain accessible video content by default, while keeping you informed and in control.

Edit Quizzes Without Making a New Copy
You now have more control and flexibility over your video quizzes. You can update video quiz titles, adjust question wording, or tweak quiz settings, such as disabling fast-forwarding or allowing unlimited attempts, without creating a new copy of the video quiz. A clear warning will appear if a change could affect existing data, giving you the choice to edit the current quiz or create a new one. These video quiz improvements help keep your quizzes accurate and up to date.
Easily Review, Adjust, and Sync to Grades to the Grade Book
You can now review each student’s video quiz grades and answers in one place, giving you the ability to make adjustments and ensure that every grade is accurate. All grade adjustments will automatically sync to the grade book, saving you time and making grading a smoother process.

New Caliper Analytics Integration to Track Video Interaction Data
You can now connect YuJa Lumina with Caliper Analytics to manage and track video interaction data more efficiently. Once you add your OAuth credentials, Caliper Analytics will automatically capture detailed interaction data for all your videos in the background. You can also choose to use a single global authorization code to track all media and session events at once, eliminating the need to set up tracking for each video individually. With this new integration, it is now easier to see how students are engaging with your video content, helping you identify which parts are most effective and where adjustments may be needed to improve learning outcomes.

Over the next few days, we’ll be adding updates to the YuJa GenAI Video PowerPack. New enhancements include bulk video analysis with customizable Sentiment AI templates and aggregated Sentiment AI insights across all templated videos.
Sentiment AI: Bulk Video Analysis with Customizable Sentiment AI Templates
As part of the GenAI Powerpack, Sentiment AI now makes it easier to review and evaluate video content. Administrators can now apply Sentiment AI templates to entire folders of videos, allowing multiple videos to be analyzed at once, instead of one at a time. You also now have greater flexibility in designing Sentiment AI templates, with new options including “Yes or No” questions, rating scales, and open-ended feedback, ensuring the analysis you receive is relevant to your goals.

Short Answers: brief responses to capture reasoning and context, which reveal hidden issues or unmet needs. Responses are either positive, neutral, or negative, depending on the question prompt.
Yes/No: a closed-ended question that allows only two possible responses, which are interpreted as a binary signal—positve/negative or success/failure.
Rating (1 to 5): used for evaluation on an ordered, numeric scale, indicating degree or intensity to provide trend analysis.
Feedback: used to provide constructive criticism and identify themes, patterns, and emerging issues at scale, without constraints on length or format.
Sentiment AI: Aggregated Sentiment Insights Across All Templated Videos
Sentiment AI now provides deeper, more actionable insights by aggregating results from question templates across all videos where they’re applied. You can now view a consolidated summary showing how Sentiment AI evaluated that question across every associated video, making it easy to spot overall trends, recurring patterns, and outliers at a glance.

Over the next few days, we’ll be updating the YuJa FeedbackFlow Assessment Platform. New enhancements include redesigned assessments for easier use, including List View for all questions, improved responsiveness, a more intuitive and visually improved interface for the Discussion/Chat section, and more.
FeedbackFlow Assessment Redesigned for Easier Use
The FeedbackFlow assessment has been redesigned to be more intuitive and easier to use. As you review an assessment, your changes are now saved automatically, so you can move between questions or step away and return without losing your work. You can also collapse and expand individual questions, making it easier to focus on one response at a time and work comfortably on smaller screens.
The overall user experience has been enhanced for better usability and navigation.
All questions are now presented in a clean List View, allowing users to easily expand or collapse individual questions.

Improved responsiveness ensures a smoother experience on smaller screens.

The Discussion/Chat section features a more intuitive and visually improved interface.

The Evaluation section has been redesigned with a clearer and more user-friendly UI.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll update YuJa EqualGround with new features and capabilities. Key updates include the launch of our brand-new YuJa EqualGround SharePoint Integration Module, the ability to upload sitemaps or CSV files to organize and scan specific web pages, automatically assign users to groups using Azure Entra ID and SSO, and so much more.

Accessibility is now built directly into your SharePoint workflow. With YuJa EqualGround’s new SharePoint Integration Module, you can now bring accessibility scanning to where your content already lives, without the need to switch platforms. This module gives you the power to scan your sites and document libraries directly from within SharePoint. With on-demand and Bulk Sync support for full library scanning, and Accessibility Reports to track remediation, you’ll now have full control over your sites and content, helping you ensure compliance while saving time.

Upload Sitemaps or CSV Files to Organize and Scan Specific Web Pages
You can now upload an XML sitemap or CSV file, and EqualGround will use it to find and scan the specified web pages. Instead of adding a website and automatically scanning all the pages, you can now organize and define exactly which pages to include. This makes it easy to organize the web pages you want scanned, focus on the important content, and keep track of your scans more efficiently.

Automatically Assign Users to Groups using Azure Entra ID and SSO
New users can now be automatically placed into the right groups based on their roles or department when they log in through your single sign-on (SSO) system with Azure Entra ID and SCIM integration. For example, all new marketing team members from your organization can be instantly added to the EqualGround Marketing group, while the instructors join the EqualGround Instructors group. This feature gets new users organized into EqualGround right away, speeds up onboarding, and frees administrators from time-consuming manual tasks.

Redesigned Issues Panel for Faster Accessibility Reviews
The EqualGround Issues Panel has been redesigned to help you review and solve accessibility issues more quickly and efficiently. You can now move through issue instances using simple arrow buttons while still viewing each issue directly on the web page, so you never lose context. All key information is presented in one place, including Issue Details, Why This Matters, and How to Fix, helping you understand your issues and take action faster. You also have a direct link to the YuJa Accessibility Guide, jumping directly to the section that explains each issue.

Improved Role and Team Management Experience
EqualGround now offers an improved Role Management experience designed to make organizing your users and teams more intuitive. The enhanced workflow lets you easily create roles, build teams, add users, and assign the right access to each group. This new workflow gives you clear control over who can access specific websites and creates a faster, more efficient onboarding experience. We have also refreshed the team invitation email, making it more user-friendly so new users can join your EqualGround teams more effortlessly.
“New” Badge Highlights Recently Added Web Pages
When reviewing web pages in EqualGround, you can now quickly spot the most recently added web pages highlighted with a “New” badge. The badge appears for three days after a new web page is added to EqualGround, or whenever newer pages are added, helping you easily identify newly added content so you can prioritize what to scan next.

Quickly Add Multiple Team Members with CSV Upload
You can now add multiple team members at once through CSV file upload. When adding a new group of users, you can quickly add everyone to the right EqualGround team without entering each user manually. Once the team is set up, you can immediately assign website access and roles to all or selected team members, saving time and ensuring your teams are fully organized and ready to start.

Enhanced Text Search with Regex
You can use regex options when creating a policy rule. Previously, EqualGround could find specific content, media, or documents based on elements, file type, and other criteria for websites. With the new regex capability, the EqualGround search engine can now find specific sequences of letters and symbols when making text related policies, giving you more flexibility and precision in your website searches.

Discover Important Announcements and Insights With New Event Banners
Administrators can now view event banners directly within EqualGround, keeping your team informed about important announcements and upcoming webinar opportunities. Designed with your workflow in mind, these banners help you discover new features, learn shortcuts to boost efficiency, and stay ahead of industry trends. You can navigate between banners using the arrow buttons or dismiss them for the current session. All of this can be done without leaving the page, giving you useful updates without interrupting your work.

Personalize Your DocHub Experience
EqualGround has upgraded DocHub to make managing your files and accessibility reports easier than ever. You can now customize the DocHub name in the sidebar to match your branding or make it clearer for your team. This simple change makes a big difference, helping you quickly find and access DocHub while keeping your workspace aligned with your organization’s needs.

Subscribe to Scheduled Scan Reports to Stay on Top of Key Insights
You can now subscribe to receive daily, weekly, or monthly reports for accessibility, SEO, documents, performance, or usability. Once subscribed, the reports are delivered straight to your inbox on your chosen schedule, without having to manually check each report page. This way, you can save time while staying on top of important insights and trends in your scans.

A New Moodle Plugin for Automated Grade-Syncing
We’re introducing a new Moodle plugin to eliminate the need for manual grade entry. You can now automatically sync poll scores from YuJa Engage to the Moodle Gradebook to reduce workload, save time, and remove error-prone processes.
