YuJa Announces Achievement of IMS Caliper Analytics® 1.1 Certification

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — YuJa, a leader in enterprise video solutions, today announces that the YuJa Enterprise Video Platform is now IMS Conformance Certified in the Caliper Analytics® 1.1 standard. This achievement enables our customers to gain a more holistic view of their analytics across multiple enterprise software products. “The goal of Caliper Analytics is to reduce the cost of obtaining quality analytics data from digital educational products by orders of magnitude,” said Rob Abel, CEO of IMS Global, in an earlier press release.

According to IMS Global Learning Consortium, Caliper Analytics “enables the collection of high rate real-time event data, via software sensors (or the Sensor API) and information models (known as metric profiles). By establishing a set of common labels for learning activity data, the metric profiles enable the exchange of the data across multiple platforms, which will allow institutions to derive better insights from interaction with digital content, learning tools and platforms.”

YuJa customers and partners can take advantage of this new analytics capability to enable better data flow among multiple products. “Our commitment to common conventions and protocols is critical to helping our clients manage an interoperable ecosystem of enterprise software products,” said Dr. Ajit Singh, Chief Executive Officer of YuJa Inc.
